Museum of American Indian
The Museum of the American Indian shares with the greater community educational programs and exhibitions that deepen understanding and appreciation of Native American cultures. The Museum promotes accuracy, sensitivity, and respect for the heritage and history of our continent’s earliest inhabitants.
The Museum of American Indian puts on a trade feast. Featured events at 2018's Trade Feast included Native American arts and crafts, Red Voices Intertribal Drum, Intertribal Pomo Dancers, Aztec Dancers, Hula Manu O’o, Unole All-Women's Drum Group, Miwok Songs and Stories, basketry demonstrations, regalia making, shell bead drilling, children activities, and tours of the Museum.
