Lava House

The Lava House offers a second-to-none view of the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area and the Sausalito waterfront. With many levels to the incomplete mansion, there are many vantage points to catch a beautiful sunset over the bay

The adjacent photos are some visuals of the imported Hawaiian lava rock that was used in the construction of the building. This mansion’s construction took place on this cliff face in Belvedere but was never completed.

The Lava House is a wonderful attraction in Marin County. While it is technically on private property, people have been touring and exploring the unfinished masterpiece for years. Make sure this is on your list of go-to places if you’re ever in Marin!
