About Us

Thank you for your interest in Arts of Marin: A Student Friendly Guide. Dominican University of California's Honors Program is proud to showcase the work of students from their FALL 2018 4920 Capstone Course.

Our course objective is as follows:

In this interdisciplinary “place-based” course, students will explore their location in San Rafael/Marin County via study of the diverse arts and scientific/cultural organizations associated with Marin, including art galleries, museums, scientific research centers, and theatre, music, and dance groups. Course focus is on the history and present day arts/cultural organizations of our local region within a national and global perspective with attention to economics, political, and social factors.
